Rearden Commerce Expands Service Offering to Include StarCite Meeting Management Solutions

A Seamless Meeting Registration and Travel Booking Platform, Encouraging Saved Time and Resources

Rearden Commerce Inc. today announced the addition of its StarCite service, which offers Web-based solutions to strategically manage corporate meetings and events. With this integration, members of the travel industry will have a complete meetings solution that covers the entire process from event planning and execution to individualized travel bookings for each attendee. The resulting solution makes meetings and event planning, booking and management simpler, easier and more cost-effective for corporations.

Rearden Commerce customers will now be able to apply meeting-specific travel policies and negotiated rates that can be set by meeting planners and then automatically administered through the Rearden Commerce™ Platform. Once bookings are complete, itinerary information will automatically be fed back into the StarCite solution, providing companies with consolidated reporting to manage meeting logistics and overall meeting spend.

An individual begins the meeting registration process in the StarCite Attendee Management System, and then is seamlessly transitioned to the Rearden Personal Assistant to complete any necessary travel bookings. There is no need to repeatedly key-in the same information as the Rearden Personal Assistant provides automatic input of key data such as airport arrival times and meeting dates. Individuals will also be able to concurrently view other itineraries to immediately identify any travel conflicts. Furthermore, meeting travel itineraries are synced with the Mobile Personal Assistant and work calendar, completing the loop into the other productivity tools and devices they use.
