Rearden Commerce Unveils International Mobile Service for Rearden Personal Assistant

New Service Saves Organizations Up to 75 Percent on International Mobile Roaming Charges, While Keeping Business Travelers Connected

Foster City, CA and Los Angeles, CA - July 28, 2008

Rearden Commerce, Inc., creator of the first Web-based personal assistant and a leading choice among companies for managing spending on business services, today introduced its new International Mobile Service for the Rearden Personal Assistant™. Offered through a joint service agreement with Voyport, an innovative provider of international mobile roaming service, the new service lets organizations slash international mobile roaming expenses by up to 75 percent while making it easier to keep their employees productive and connected. Rearden Commerce will be demonstrating its International Mobile Service at the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) International Convention and Exposition (Booth 2501) in Los Angeles, July 28-30.

International mobile roaming charges today represent a large, unmanaged travel-related expense. A recent study conducted by research company Harris Interactive Inc. revealed that international mobile roaming fees can cost U.S. businesses nearly $700 per trip for every global traveler -- or roughly the cost of two hotel room nights in London, Paris, or Hong Kong.

"Savvy travel and procurement professionals are always looking for new ways to contain rising travel expenses. The Rearden Personal Assistant uniquely empowers these executives to manage spending on variety of services, while also improving employee productivity and satisfaction," said Patrick Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce. "We are excited to partner with Voyport and add this innovative new international mobile service to the Rearden Commerce™ Platform."

Avoiding Sticker-Shock

Road warriors rely on their mobile phones to stay connected with customers, colleagues and family, but are often shocked to see their phone bills after returning from overseas travel. "U.S. carriers charge mobile roaming fees of up to $4.99/minute from some countries, and until now there hasn't been much companies could do about it," said John Melick III, co-founder, Chairman and President of Voyport. "Voyport enables thousands of Rearden Commerce customers to gain control of this growing expense category, without the need to negotiate new contracts or hire new support staff."

Keeping Global Road Warriors Connected and Productive

International travelers can order international mobile service online after booking their travel arrangements through the Rearden Personal Assistant -- a one-stop shop for finding, buying and managing an array of travel-related services. Before their departure, travelers forward any of their existing phones to a unique "Find Me" number. Upon their arrival, inbound calls are automatically routed to travelers wherever they roam. Unanswered calls are routed to travelers' voicemail and email boxes for later retrieval. If a traveler does not have a mobile device that works internationally, the Rearden Personal Assistant offers a selection of devices and accessories for purchase.

"Busy international travelers don't have time to rent phones, buy pre-paid cards and keep track of multiple phone numbers. Our customers enjoy the convenience of acquiring a feature rich service while booking their trip, and then reliable service with significant savings once they arrive at their destination abroad", continued Melick.

The Rearden Commerce International Mobile Service is currently being piloted by several customers, and will be made available in Q4 2008.
