Heather Brooks

Heather joins Rearden Commerce after seven years at eBay, Inc., where she led key functions in Operations, Program Management, and Product Development. Most recently, Heather was the Senior Director of PayPal New Ventures & Consumer Technology, including Engineering, Program and Technical Product Management. Before she led the fully integrated technology team, Heather built the Product, Technology and Release Planning functions at PayPal from the ground up, shaping the process and team to meet the scaling needs of Product and Technology. Under her leadership, the team grew from less than 50 to over 400 engineers in 2 years.
   
Prior to Paypal, Heather held key roles in Program Management and Planning at eBay, and helped build the Performance and Capacity Planning function within Operations. Before eBay, Heather worked in Finance, Business Development and Engineering management roles at Halliburton and Exxon.
  
Heather is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, with a BS in Chemical Engineering and York University with an MBA specializing in Finance and Marketing.
